2024 has been a record-breaking year for us and this deal enables us to significantly accelerate our business model and enhance our ability to deliver affordable, reliable transport-as-a-service for millions of businesses across Africa and the Global South. In addition, this deal will allow us to explore new markets and introduce new technologies, such as payment apps, to improve our overall customer experience. We also couldn’t be more excited that Colin Tebbett, who has led the global expansion of OX Delivers from the company’s inception, will become CEO of OX East Africa.
As we enter this new phase of growth, we’ve continued to bring more exceptional automotive expertise to the team including our new Technical Director, Satpal Sokhi, who has 30+ years engineering experience across dumper trucks and other heavy duty trucks, as well as Chris Smith, our new Head of Supply Chain and Purchasing, who previously worked with the likes of Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, INEOS and ARRIVAL.
